Welcome to La Blancapierre, a former 60 Hectare Dairy farm now split and sold into many smaller farms, the current owners Ian & Cecilia have managed to acquire the former estate house and immediate out buildings. Located on the side of Hill 309 (operation Bluecoat during the war – do look it up on the internet), the house enjoys magnificent views and stunning sunsets.

Now operating as a Gite complex, the existing 6 acre site features three Gites all sleeping 8 and all set independently of each other off a central court yard and each with a very private garden and above ground splash pool – ideal for kids and the long summer days.

La Blancapierre lies less than 2 minutes from the A84 – the principle motorway and gateway to Brittany and is centrally located for all Normandy’s principle tourist attractions. First and foremost, the D-Day beaches with its numerous memorials, museums and, of course, the long, wide glorious beaches themselves. Also, the world famous Bayeux tapestry and the world heritage site of Mont St Michel all lie within easy access. Finally, Zoo’s, adventure parks and spaces for the younger kids abound.

On site, there is a communal games room featuring a full size pool table and table tennis table to name but a few ideal to keep the kids happy and out from under your feet. We also have 4 sheep, a goat and 8 chickens and openly invite all guests to help and the freshest eggs you will ever hope to find.
